I use HV513's 8x N-Channels and P-Channel MOSFETS. You can tie their rails any way you want. So I drive 8 anodes with 1x 513 a/ VPP tied to HV and HVGND tied to pull-middile, then I drive 16 Cathodes (what you need for B7971's) w/ 2x HV513s w/ VPP tied to pull-middle, and HVGND tied to GND...
