I have 4 of the larger devices (I-195 ?), and at 75mm character-height,
they are the largest displays in my collection. Much larger than my nixies.
I'm still puzzled about the drive-current; supposedly these are capacitive
loads, so at a given frequency & voltage you should be able to

Also, there is a couple of bad links: Like: http://www.tmk.com/mod-6-nixie
which is blocked by Chrome as malware site. It redirects to:
http://mihang.com which is 404
Make sure you're getting to: https://www.glaver.org/mod-6-nixie/

Thanks for your answers so far. So it seems , its not so bad , not having this
kit !?
And - by the way , the best kit for B7971 , I've built so far , is the kit from
badnixie.com !
Great clock , wonderful support - happy customer !!

Yep, the drive board has been 'coming soon' for a quite some time now...I'm
sure Bob is busy with other things...I have two of the tube boards in
anticipation of the driver boards, but they're not ready yet...;-(

building a clock with them from scratch.

I have one kit. Put it together but never did much (anything) with it.
My laptop (at the time) didn't have bluetooth to talk to it. :)

Hi !
Up to here I was mostly only reading the discussions here. Now my question - I
was in contact last year with the owner of cogwheelcircuit.com.
We talked about a clock using B7971. He told me ,that he is about to produce a
new charge of the pcb's for this clock.
In the new year I've tried
You say you want to use arduino? So the frequency of the pwm will be 490Hz or
980Hz. It is possible to change that, but be carefull, chaninging the pwm
frequency may mess up functions like millis().

The schematic on taht link is CRAP! You will blow some components if You
try!
It is imperative to have a resistor between the collector of NPN and base
of the PNP. Otherwise it will end up in a short circuit when the NPN
conducts. Google around for high end nixie drivers and You will find
Both is possible, but personally i would do one of these for each.
