I found that the IN13 would 'tear' and such if I tried o make it move from
one value to the next too quickly. If I ramped the change it behaved well.
This may have been the problem you saw with the IN-9 as well. I will have
to play with those just to see. If I remember correctly, the IN13 took 2ms

I've backed many many Kickstarter projects of interest and have yet to be
burned. Don't let a few bad apples spoil it for you. Indiegogo is the one I'd
be more wary of, their 'charlatan' count is a lot higher than Kickstarter

My contact from the US will bring me the first batch himself when he visits
mid-September so won't know how bad the nixies are until then.
This time there are more close-up pictures and tests for the second batch.

Interesting find!
The IN-1 seems to be smaller, about 18mm digit height. The socket looks a bit
different as well.
This one seems to be more of the caliber of a GN-5A.
Have you compared them side by side?
