I did not realize there were different types of DT1704 tubes. I have a
single Tung-Sol DT1704 still in its original RadioShack "Archer" packaging
that I bought around 1975. I had already built a single digit Nixie counter
following a supplied schematic using 7490, 7475 and 7441 TTL chips. I

Does anyone know whatever happened to Eldorado Electronics? I wonder if
they ever made a counter or DVM that didn’t use Nixies.
Don’t recall ever seeing any but maybe the group has some info.
