Wow, These are supposedly the least common of the multi-segment Burroughs tubes. However, one ebay seller has been doling them out one at a time for several months now. I bought one for about $30 early on with the original box and was very happy to complete the 5971/8971/7971 series in my collection. But in recent months, these tubes have sold for as much as $182.50!!! I asked if more were available when I won my auction, but received no reply. Obviously the seller is banking on the legendary "rarity" of these tubes. Bid with caution as they obviously have more to sell and we are only driving the prices up with our greed.
