None of the getters seems to have been fired though, all working samples
I've seen have had their getters fired. Would be nice to know if they work.

I think LEDs and VFDs were the final nail in the coffin for NIMO tubes.
Yes, that is the story as I wrote earlyer in this thread.
I guess not all tubes were destroyed. Small parts of the production ended im
private hands and collections. Some items were for sale as ‘not functional’.
I ever could buy one for my tube collection for a realistic price.

XM1000 is a modified copy of the NIMO made by Telefunken.
In fact, these tubes should have been destroyed after a lawsuit by NIMO,
because Telefunken ignored their patent. However, it seems that much of this
tubes has been preserved.
