I am having a managed object for holding the IP Address of the agent.
I am assigning value for this OID in my C file. This oid is read-only.
Since I am running multiple agents each with different virtual IP's on
the same PC, but only one oid to hold the IP Address. I decided to use

Hello I have used same configuration file for both versions. I have only one version installed at one time. After displaying two values in the interface mib ,it is saying timeout,no response from agent. If I do cat /proc/net/dev i can see all my interface details including interface names etc..
Could anyone pls tell me where the control goes(ie., to which C file)
first in the net-snmp agent when "snmpget" is executed?
Is there any URL where I can get detailed description on this?

compilation fails (in snmplib/snmpTCPIPv6Domain.c). This is unrelated to
your changes, but still needs to be investigated.
Works fine now on Solaris 7, too.

I would like to retrieve the remote host IP provided in the snmpget
request and use it in my C file got by compiling private MIB.
I am going to assign this remote host IP to the managed object in my MIB.

I am using net-snmp-5.2.1.2 in my router. All the snmp
commands are working fine except "snmpset". The error message which I
got while setting is as follows:
