*If I delete a static route entry from the routing table it was removed successfully from the routing table. But this deleted route persists in /proc/

I am using Net-SNMP 5.3.0.1 in my router in LINUX platform.I am facing the following problem with "IfLastChange" in Interfaces MIB.
If I browse this group the value of "IfLastChange" is dispalying 0(zero) always.
Can anyone help me regarding this?
