Hi Experts, We are using net-nsmp 5.4.1.2 and need information on support of snmp v3 traps.
SNMP v3 user configured with AES privacy , when queried with DES results in expected error. But the moment we configure a v3 host using that user, the behaviour gets reversed. MIB output is seen with DES privacy (eventhough the user is configured with AES) and usmStatsDecryptionErrors starts incrementing instead of giving MIB output, when the query is done with right privacy parameter. Also, the snmp process reintialises when a user is qeried with higher security level than the configured security level. (confoigured with authNoPriv and queried with authPriv) Any help is ok.
