Not really. The best you can do is to turn off all net-snmp debugging (see
configure options), and then 'strip' the library to remove compiler debug
symbols.

the size of libnetsnmp.a.
I tried to disable a lot a functionnalities with
"--disable-xxx" options in configure but with no real
result.
