Hi,
I think, you cannot have a table as part of OBJECTS definition in
NOTIFICATION-TYPE macro (SNMPv2-SMI). Alternate is to list the all table
objects in the OBJECTS.
Thanks

I am getting a timeout response from my mib browser.
I downloaded the ireasoning v2.0 mib browser (http://www.ireasoning.com/)
for windows, and tried to use it to view my tables. It gives a timeout
message. The system mib also gives a timeout message.
I have the net-snmp snmpd running, and an a

Hi
I am using perl 5.8.6 and installed net-snmp 5.2
When I try to run mib2c on sample MIB definition it complains of SNMP perl module not being installed.
However I have installed net-snmp and then changed to perl sub directory of net-s

Hello
I have been able to set up the following expression form the Host
Resource Mib.
expression: 1.3.6.1.2.1.25.2.3.1.6. / .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.2.3.1.5. * 100.
This expression works fine and I can validate it with df -k and check
it's results.
What I would like to be able to accomplish is sending
Hi Timothy.
If you are using Linux, you probably need to store the snmpd.conf file
in /usr/local/share/snmp/snmpd.conf, not /etc/snmpd.conf.
Try running snmpconf. The first thing it will do is tell you where any
existing configuration files are.

Hi all!!
I want to send in a trap a Table that I have created.
I have put in the part of Notification of the MIB, this:

But when I try to start snmpd:

I realy think that snmptrapd is just reading one configuration file

AFAIK HOST-RESOURCES-MIB is included by default. If you are doing an
snmpwalk you may need to include the par
Hi,
No the agent is configured to send just one trap. As you can see from
the output of snmptrapd that I show bellow the snmptrapd is just
getting 1 time but the perl trap handler gets executed two times:

Hi,
I have a successful install of Net-Snmp, on Sun Solaris, as an agent.
I would like to use the Host Resources Mib but it does not appear to be
one of the working modules at this time.
All other functions with Net-Snmp work fine.
What would be the best procedure to add this mib module, Host Res
Robert,
As per your advice I used the netsnmp_column_info structure to indicate
valid columns to the agent. Following is my observation.
When I make a query from the manager on these invalid columns I am
getting 'SNMP_NOSUCHINSTANCE' error, but I am expecting a
'SNMP_NOSUCHOBJECT' error, as thes
In any case agent is configured to send two traps ?

Dear All,
I'm using snmptrapd with embedded perl turned on. For some reason my
perl trap handler is being executed 2 times for each trap I receive.
As someone seen the same behaviour before or knows which is the function
in snmptrapd that executes the perl handler. This way I can try to
