My Solaris system have three ethernet cards.
If one of these cards fails(or network line fails), can
snmp-agent know this?
In case system power off, can snmp-agent know this too? (UPS
will stand some second until power completely off)
If so, How can I implement this?

I've run into what appears to be a basic problem, and yet I can't seem to find
any information on it. Essentially, I'm trying to call the exec directive from
my snmpd.conf as such:
exec .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.50 message /usr/local/bin/qmailmrtg7 m /var/log/qmail

I have some problems to run example-demon.
I installed net-snmp-5.1.2 to Sun Solraris 5.8.
I have tested snmpd demon, and it works well.
Then, I compiled example-demon.c as shown the tutorial page
and ran it.
but it does'nt work.
