Hi all,
objid_enterprise is hardcoded as .1.3.6.1.4.1.3.1.1 in the source
files. This seems to be a subtree of Carnegie Mellon's
enterprise-specific MIB. Why is this hardcoded to this? And why the
trailing .1.1? This is sent as the enterprise-specific OID when traps
are sent, so it's not a purely
Hi.
A colleague of mine is running net-snmp 5.4.1.2 on Windows 2003 R2.
He's dropped in the UCD SNMP MIB's from the net-snmp web site.
However, when he discovers the system through SNMP v3, he only sees
the network interfaces - no other device information (such as disks).
What do we nee
I got this requirement from the README file on 5.4.1.2 binary pacage. The
MIB2C requires the perl module which requires the regex.dll. I suspect the
reason for the regex not working is perhaps no one is building an snmp agent on
Windows ?

Hello all,
I am sorry if I am writing such a lengthy mail, but thought it would be helpful
for others who might be facing similar problems.
I observed some problem while installing NET-SNMP on Linux system. I could find
solution to some of my problems by searching the mail archives. But I am
I'm using Redhat and Suse Enterprise versions of Linux. I have a generic
question about snmpd. I have a subagnet which at the moment only sends snmp
traps using void send_v2trap(). If someone does "kill -9 (Processid for
snmpd)" is there any way to detect it?
Thanks in advance.

Hi all, I have one quick question.
How often counters are updated, for example IF-MIB::ifInOctets?
