Limit agent to send X number of traps?

Hello, Is there a way to limit the agent to send X number of traps ONLY and then shutdown? I know an agent can monitor itself but do I need to create an object in MIB and implement it in C/C++? Would appreciate if someone can tell me how to go about it. Thanks. -- Josh ---
