getting trap from Cisco-router AND Cisco-switch --

Hi I have a question about getting snmp-trap from devices : when I want to get trap from Cisco-router AND Cisco-switch , Should I have any change on my linux server Specially On my MIB ? And should I add these device's MIB to our linux server ? Thanks ---
