snmpv3 traffic

hi every1, i'm trying to generate snmpv3 traffic on my linux system, and i have installed snmp according to the tutorial. i know that it's possible to send and receive messages without using a virtual machine.but i haven't figured out yet how to do it...can anyone help?? thanks in advance
