Hello,
I am new to Net-SNMP and J.AgentX and I am having
trouble making things work. I am using the latest
version of Net-SNMP and J.AgentX running on SUSE 10.
I started Net-SNMP in master-agent mode by putting
"master agentx" in snmpd.conf and then I started
snmpd.

Next I compiled MySimpleSubagent.java example from
J.AgentX using JDK 1.5.0_06.  When I run "snmpwalk" I
get

NET-SNMP-AGENT-MIB::nsModuleName."public".1.0.0 =
STRING:
NET-SNMP-AGENT-MIB::nsModuleName."public".1.1.0 =
STRING:
NET-SNMP-AGENT-MIB::nsModuleName."public".1.2.0 =
STRING:
NET-SNMP-AGENT-MIB::nsModuleName."public".9.1.3.6.1.4.1.1331.11.1.127
= STRING: AgentX subagent 7, session 0x800b1ec0,
subsession 0x80101d90

So I think I am actually seeing the Subagent. But
when I tried querying the MIB using "snmpget" I get an
error saying no such object. What am I doing wrong?
I messed with this for 2 days and got nowhere.

Thanks for your help.

Denny
