Thanks for that important pointer. It works now.

Is there a way to send multiple traps in a session?
Can some one give some pointers?
If I opened a session & tried sending multiple traps I get a " *** glibc
detected *** double free or corruption" error when attempting to send
the second trap
Thanks,
Edison

Hi,
When I call snmp_shutdown() in my application (snmpapp) I get the
following message. Could someone tell me how I can block this message?
No log handling enabled - turning on stderr logging
read_config_store open failure on /var/net-snmp/snmpapp.conf
Thanks,
Edison

Hi,
I need a clarification on the snmptranslate command.
When I try the following the command on a sample MIB file(attached
below)
snmptranslate -M+. -mNSMAIL-MIB -Tp -IR netscape
I got the following output -
+--netscape(1450)
|
+--netscape#(0)

| +--nsMailServerStart(5

Hi,
Could someone let me know what is the maximum length of a string that
can be stored in a varbind(part of the variable list) in a Trap?
Thanks,

Hi all,
I am new to Net-SNMP. I have found that Net-SNMP provides a built-in
SNMP agent(snmpd).
Could someone clarify whether a SNMP manager is also provided?
