My problem with the tcpConnTable and proxy has been solved by not initializing
tcpTables when snmpd is started:
When snmpd is started with: snmpd -I -tcpTable
The proxy statement works and the table is successfully received.
Is there a way to put this -I option ( or equivalent) in the sn

I am running Net-SNMP 5.5 on an AIX 5.3 OS system.
When I try to get the tcpConnTable (1.3.6.1.2.1.6.13.1)
Net-SNMP responds with OID for 1.3.6

Hi all in userland
Is there a known problem with Net-SNMP proxy not working for certain OIDs? I
understand that Net-SNMP running on AIX has a problem and always returns
zero for ifNumber. I tried to fix this and also use AIX-snmp to get the
ifTable & tcpConnTable by using proxy.
I configued snmp
work-around for this? Is the problem with AIX 64 bit?
