Hi, I am observing slightly odd results when comparing a cacti graph
made from system, user, nice CPU values from net-snmp vs. one made by
extracting values from /proc/stat via a shell script.

Theoretically, these statistics should be identical, right? But they
aren't.

This is on an Ubuntu 6.06 Server system, net-snmpd version 5.2.1.2.

The OID's that are being used are:

.1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.52.0
.1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.51.0
.1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.50.0

The shell script basically just does at `cat /proc/stat` and reports
the raw values back to cacti.

Here is a sample of a graph showing the issue:

http://mark.antsclimbtree.com/files/snmp_v_procstat.gif

The top graph is from net-snmp numbers; the bottom graph is from
numbers directly from /proc/stat.

Anyone have an idea what might be going on here?

Thanks!
