hi again
I have a table that is is indexed by integer & string:
netsnmp_table_helper_add_indexes(
table_info, // the table
ASN_INTEGER, // ID
ASN_OCTET_STR, // name
0);
In my iterator handler I set both values:
vptr = put_index_data;
snmp_set_var_value(vptr, (u_char *)&id, sizeof(int) );

Thanks a lot
This was very helpful

hi there
I have a MIB implementation that handles a table.
Calling snmpgetnext -v2c - c public localhost MyMIB::MyOID.1 to get
index no. 1 works fine.
It works fine for indexes up to 8.
Trying snmpgetnext -v2c - c public localhost MyMIB::MyOID.9 resulted in
skipping to the next column.

Hi
I have implemented a MIB that includes a table.
I use the iterator functions as shown in the example MIB.
I have 2 rows in my table each refers to a file that holds the data.
My iterator handlers set the appropriate file name in the
my_data_context.
I extract the file name in the MIB handler
it works!
you may want to add the "tcp:" addition to FAQ 13
thanks a lot

thanks for the quick response.
I tried:
agentxsocket udp:localhost:705
and it came up.

Hi guys
I'm working on Windows Vista.
I installed "net-snmp-5.4.1-3.win32.exe" from Net-SNMP site.
Seems to work fine.
Running mib2c required perl SNMP module.
I tried to get the module in the following ways:
