Hi all,

I need to add a couple of interfaces to the ifMIB which are not automatically
recognized so that I would be able to collect statistics for them. Is it
possible to extend current if-mib implementation without rewriting the code,
provided in net-snmp by default?
I mean, can I write another .so-module that would get information on new
interfaces into standard ifTable (i.e. two modules would work on one oid
simultaneously)?

If yes, how can I exchange index values between modules in order to append to
ifTable and not rewrite?

Best regards
