Sorry, I just figured it out myself: The wrong behaviour shows only up if I do not send the output to a file by the switch -Lf. But as I intend to do this anyway (and did just my testing in the foreground with output to the screen), I got the impression that snmptrapd does not work as expected. Sorry for the confusion.
