Hi,
Our application allows configuration of system decription, system contact
and location. When I tried to set the description as blank, I see the linux
kernel information for system description.
How can I set this system description to blank?

In snmpd.conf, add the following directive:
sysDescr
Hopefully whitespace counts the same as blank in your application.
You can try an empty string, too.
