As long as it is internal stuff, you can do it without talking with
IANA. Requesting an enterprise OID is all about avoiding collisions
with other enterprises.
I have seen bugs where an enterprise was collapsing the enterprise
tree itself in an officially released product. The product was

Getting an official enterprise OID won't magically solve you from
coding an agent, it will just render the OIDs legit.
