Hi,
I am using the snmp c api, the plateform is linux 9, I am carring out a
series of snmpgetnext requests for different objects in a loop and populate a
mysql database with the results. The software functions without a problem.
However if a temporary network problem occurs e.g. if I un plug the ethernet
cable and then re plug it after about 5 minutes, the snmpgetnext requests fails
and doen't recover even when the network becomes available. If the application
is killed and restarted normal operation starts again. can any one please point
me to an example code that would be of help, that can help me to figure out the
steps that must be carried out for such an application.
