Hi all,

how can I configure my extended agent so that when a
variable is set to a certain value, it takes an action
I would like to define. i use a scalar object (an
octet string) do i have to do something in the
handler? what do i need to do to acheive this? do I
have to add the code in the MODE_SET_ACTION case?

also can the file scalar.conf be used to manage
integer32 objects? to get/set values to it and to
define an action to be taken when it has certain
value? so that I don't use register int instance?

how can I build a v3 trap from within the code? In
snmptrap command there isn't much information

how can I configure the agent to check for the data of
the variable every certain time? I need to create a v3
trap and send it when it has certain value also I need
to write an entry to a file I use (as a log)

thanks,
mauricio
