Hi, In our net-snmp5.4.1 enviroment, these messages are logged intermittently.
"c64 32bit check failed" "looks like a 64 bit wrap, but prev!=new" Can we stop these messages? Build option? snmpd.conf option?? --------------------- Hi, Mike, Thank you for replay. >>>I don't know this problem specifically, but I believe there have >>>beenrelatively recent fixes for 64 bit counters. If possible, pleaseupgrade >>>to net-snmp 5.4.1 and try again. I believe 64 bit>>>>>counterswork >>>relatively well now. It might not possible for us to upgrade to net-snmp5.4.1 now due to our schedule already in the end of project. Are there some major changes from 5.3.1 to 5.4.1? Just thinking of risk to upgrade at this stage. Could you please give me some details of fix/patch in net-snmp5.4.1 for this 64bit counter fix you mentioned, so I could port the fix or patch to net-snmp5.3.1 myself. We have another problem, our system testing found recently during long term testing, snmpd got segmentation fault, it did not generate core file, from syslog, at the same time, snmpd loged the error message "looks like a 64 bit wrap, but prev!=new". do you know this kind of crash? do we have same kind of fix on 5.4.1 branch? is this also related to 64 bit counters? Thanks again for help!! _________________________________________________________________ 広告表示なし!アカウント有効期限なし!Hotmail Plus のお申し込みはこちら http://get.live.com/mail/options ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
