I am attempting to use the RPM spec files from git://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/net-snmpbased off some changes that I have made. The rpmbuild gets most of the way through and I see this error:RPM build errors: File must begin with "/": %{_unitdir}/snmp*Iam running this on CentOS 6.0, any ideas?

I am trying to build rpm for net-snmp 5.5 on a redhat 3 machine. I am using
spec file that came with net-snmp5.5 stored in dist directory.
Any clue will be highly appreciated.
Thank you.

If I look at the rpm-tmp.48839. I get following at the end:

I am using Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.
I need to rebuild the latest net-snmp-5.5 (rebuild the RPM) . However, after
the rpm build process I only end up with:
net-snmp-5.5-1.x86_64.rpm
net-snmp-debuginfo-5.5-1.x86_64.rpm
net-snmp-devel-5.5-1.x86_64.rpm
net-snmp-perlmods-5.5-1.x86_64

Does this also happen with a manual "./configure ... && make" build?
Wow -- no, it doesn't, and I'm using the configure command that the RPM build
prints out. I'll have t

Hi, all,
I've been beating on this for about two days now: When I try to build an RPM on
a PowerPC running Linux 2.4.25-ish, I end up with the following jewel buried
deeply in the rpm binary build output:
File not found by glob: /tmp/net-snmp-root/usr/lib/*.so*
Sure enough, digging through t
I grabbed the 5.3.1 source and the net-snmp.spec file. I have
successfully built the rpm binaries on a RHEL v.3 box. The perl modules
were also built successfully, but at the very end of the build process I
receive a huge number of messages saying that "installed (but
unpackaged)" files we
