Try
$ snmpd -c .. -m mib1,mib2
where mib1 and mib2 are your MIBS to be included.
For second one, you can specify -M option and remove the mibs you don't
want snmp agent to load.

I have installed net-snmp 5.7.2.1 in my various linux machine...
I have requirements like :
1)Start snmp service only with IF-MIB and SNMPv2-MIB support.
2)Start snmp service which support all MIB but not IF-MIB and SNMPv2-MIB.
