Actually, I think you may have misunderstood me. This isn't an Ubuntu thing, it's a hardware thing and I don't think it would make a difference in this case whether you install Suse or Fedora Core (Redhat). Hi Marc,This means that Ubuntu isn't recognizing the hardware. There's really no simple way of fixing this. You have to figure out what is the correct driver and manually configure everything around that. If you know exactly what your video card is you could try doing this: mess up your xorg.conf
