Michael -
I like both of these - I'm all in favour of art made out of bits of
food, as you know - but the "tango" one is especially striking. I like
the slantiness of it, those patches of colour, and the way you've
suggested the musicians without getting into very much detail.

Doris Lessing passed away.

The sad news came from Hanif Kureishi on FB.. we waited for the official
news.. and finally Guardian reported her passing.
I was lucky to attend her lecture at Berkeley. She was my teacher.
