I don' t know the writings of James Lee Burke.. there were two films
made based on his novels.. but I haven't seen these. (Tommy Lee Jones,
Alec Baldwin.. starred in these films).
Going back to Elmore Leonard.. the Time article slighted Jacky Brown by
Tarantino.. Elmore in one interview I

always liked his writing, but like James Lee Burke so much better, and the
two are comparable. I didn't know Leonard was as old as he was...
