Thanks for the suggestion, Jeff- but I noticed -lcrypt appears during the build
process. I added it manually anyway but that led to errors concerning OpenSSL
so will follow Miko's advice and send to
pkgsrc-users.
Apologies for the mismail, I'm sure I could come up with an excuse at a push. (:
FYI, you'd be better off asking this on pkgsrc-users.

Setting up pkgsrc-2021Q1 on Solaris 10 x86 for an experiment. Going quite well
so far, but still using an old gcc version (3.4.3) to build a newer one within
