yeah. it was a quick
arch/${ARCH}/Makefile
extract out the "-DXXX" stuff from CHECKFLAGS into a new Makefile
variable, expand that into CHECKFLAGS and use the new variable in
places like
tools/testing/selftests/bpf/Makefile
and
tools/testing/selftests/ipc/Makefile
