1. Occasional discovery fail (Eric W. Bates)
--- Begin Message ---
discovery is apparently failing occasionally when collecting the module
inventory on cisco c2960-X.
I recently discovered two machines with a single pseudo chassis entry
and nothing else. I re-ran discovery:
~netdisco/bin/netdisco-do discover -d challenger01x01 -D
and it failed again:
[3886973] 2021-08-03 12:01:55 debug [172.26.8.226] modules - removed 1
chassis modules
[3886973] 2021-08-03 12:01:55 debug [172.26.8.226] modules - 0 chassis
components (added one pseudo for chassis)
re-ran a second time:

/home/netdisco/perl5/lib/perl5/App/Netdisco/Worker/Plugin/Discover/Entities.pm
line 103.

[3889556] 2021-08-03 12:15:57 debug [172.26.8.226] modules - added 137
new chassis modules
And it finds all the modules; but there was a series of errors just
prior to the log about adding the modules and when displayed, the
modules appeared on the web page with no hierarchy.
so I re-ran a 3rd time and all is well with the universe:
[3890699] 2021-08-03 12:20:39 debug [172.26.8.226] modules - removed 137

I've not noticed this before. I'm guessing it's a timeout on the switch?
Is this somewhat common? (I haven't cooked up a query to find all
devices with only a single device_module yet.)
Are there any steps I can take?
