Hey folks,
As discussed at the last meeting, we are heading to revising existing RFCs to
align them with NMDA. The first batch have been published as individual drafts:
1. https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-bjorklund-netmod-rfc7223bis-00
2. https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-bjorklund-netmod-rfc

I know of no IPR related to this draft.

Hi,
I agree with Juergen that these proposed guidelines are not a good idea.
The priority order for YANG is (1) readers (2) writers and (3) toolmakers.
It seems trivial for group (3) to convert the XSD pattern to some other
format.
It seems difficult to train all the people in groups (1) and (2) t

For me usage standpoint it really would be much simpler in the model
definition and use for the mount point to behave like a container. What are
your technical objections to this change? Note that the encoding from a
protocol standpoint would be the same as a container.
Thanks

modules, this type of advice could be handy from a tooling point of
view. Such advice, if not in RFC6087b
