issue with pptp plugin

I'm running Ubuntu Jaunty using the network manager package that comes with the distro. It is version 0.7.1~rc.4.1-0ubuntu2. The network-manager-pptp package is version 0.7.1~rc.4.20090316 +bzr23-0ubuntu3. My PPTP VPNs get connected fine and traffic passes just like I want it to. The problem is

Yes I just installed the stuff to work with the ZTE and was getting the double entry. I was also getting the modem identified as a long string containing ZTE Model, etc.. when I plugged my Huawei E169 in it just came up as Mobile Broardband and a single entry. As well as fixing the double entry

I've been poking at this a bit more, and I understand somewhat better what is going on. The ZTE has 3 serial ports withiin the USB interface - one is NMEA (don't know what it's for), one is supposed to be diagnostic, and one the modem. When the modem is plugged in, NM probes the ports to see

Your email does not make much sense. It may help if you explain what you are trying to accomplish. The 127.0.0.1 always returns pings because its the loopback device. If the wireless is not connected to an access point then I do not see why it would be in the routing tables. If you want a

Before I used Network Manager to manage my connections my wireless interface would be activated on boot. Without an access point I (obviously) could not connect to the net, but I could still ping my local machine with the static IP (192.168.0.100). With Network Manager managing my connection
