Well I launched the NetworkManager --no-daemon& and that is all. I will
maybe try to crosscompile NetworkManager to have more debug prints.
I was thinking, you where talking about udev. Does networkmanager needs some
kind of notification from udev to know that there is a new device ?

I'm actually not sure how to enable debug messages. I know it is
possible, since mine was showing debug messages until I recompiled it.
Though, when NM queries udev for the driver, and it can't find the
driver for the device or any of it's parent devices, then it rejects

I tried that and I don't have more messages than I had before. Especialy no
device_creator().
The messages I put I my previous email are the only one I can see. Why
wouldn't NetworkManager create the device ? What does it need ?
The more I try to understand the more I get lost
Kill network manager and then run it as:
sudo NetworkManager --no-daemon
This will show all log output. Also enable debug logging. Look for a
message like:
