It's 3G connection. It turns to be the chap authentication method problem. As pppd only supports chap ms-v2 and the ISP always initiates as chap md5 algorithm. So, when I set it to be 'refuse-chap' in the option, the modem will try to connect the ISP. However, now, I met another problem. I got the
