[newbie] Error installation

Hello,

When I tried to install Mandrake 5.3 from my hard-disk with the files I have 
downloaded from ftp , I have the error message : Error Opening Files , altough I have 
specified the right directory.

Does someone have ever enconter this problem ?

I would really appreciate if someone could help me.


It is my first experience with linux.
