[newbie] gtk debugging libraries

I know that some distros have debugging libraries for gtk, glib, and/or gnome which still have the debugging symbols in them and get installed in /usr/lib/debug. I need such libraries for Mandrake 9.1 to debug my app. Do these packages exists? Does anyone know how/where to get them?
