Lindows installed. I have the Mandrake 9.0 as well, but it is not installed at the moment. Having gotten a number of viruses from the Newbie list, I am surprised because I thought Linux was pretty much impervious to viruses. I don't know which of the above programs can be used with Linux. the site is not bogus. they do have a good firewall called Internet Alert which does in fact work. however, i doubt that it would work with Linux. not sure though. there are places where you can test your security online. if anyone wants to know the address, let me know. Eric S. Dye At 05
