Hi,
I am new to the world of Linux. I just purchase LINUX-Mandrake 7.0 deluxe
and it tells me to install from the floppy. I am attempting to setup my
machine to duel boot(Linux / Win 98). It does not recognize my cd rom and I
can't go any furhter. It asks me whether I have a SCSI or Other. I choose
other because I have and IDE. It then shows me a list of manufactures, my
brand is not listed. I chose the last option which said ide... and it asked
me for a module. I have a generic brand IDE cd rom (Brand Name: AFREEY
Speed: 50X) I have a ASUS motherboard Pent III 550mhz with 128mg ram. Your
immediate help will be greatly appreciated.
