[newbie] Can't Boot and no support!

To whom it may concern:   I've been trying to get Mandrake 7.1 Deluxe loaded for the last three weeks...I've called all the help numbers and gone to the web pages and haven't been able to receive a single bit of real help from anyone.   If this product is suppose to be the NT/MS Windows killer...no one would be able to tell...if you can't even get it loaded and you can't boot from the CD and there is no help or support to even get you to the starting line.   Pretty frustrated!!!   Jim
