God in Heaven! Why would anyone install SENDMAIL? It's got a security
rap sheet longer than your arm.
I highly suggest qmail. See http://freezer-burn.org and click on the
link for qmail under Linux-Mandrake.
I had a basic qmail server up and running within 8 hours and I'm a
complete neophyte
Pardon my jumping in here. I'm new to the list and taking a HUGE stab in the dark here.
I notice you have an @home account. By any chance, is this server also doing any
firewalling? If so, is it configured to allow ports 25 and 113? You should have both
ports
open.
