first off, your lilo.conf does show your windows partitions
other=/dev/hda1
label=windows
table=/dev/hda
do not boot from a floppy, but when you receive the LILO boot prompt type in
"windows" without the quotes of course, hitting the tab key should give you
something like this;
linux
you need to boot with the bootdisk you made during install, you did make one didn't
you? just let it boot from that and it should boot correctly, do not use the resue
boot img do not use the bootdisk that came with the distro.
