I have Mdk10.0 running on my ASUS M2400N laptop.
I would like to connect an external lcd monitor running at 1280x1024.
The internal lcd panel is 1024x768.
I can switch between internal, external and both monitors using the Fn
key on my laptop and via acpi.

I just installed Mandrak 8.2.
I have tried to change the resolution of the screen, but drakeconf
detects a TNT2 card with 4 mb RAM. the card type is correct but the
amount of ram should be 32.
Also, it detects the card as a pci card. This hsould be agp.
I am running XFree 4.2
Any
change the resolution-box in drakconf to 1280x1024 the depth
automatically changes to 16bpp. I figured that this had something to do
with the wrong amount of video RAM.
