[newbie] [Fwd: Square Mouse Cursor after installing Mandrake v 7]

I an a Linux newbie and have managed to install Mandrake 7. However I
have on major problem which I need some help with. I have a 1" square
mourse cursor instaed of an arrow anybody come across this problem
before? If so can you let me know how to solve it.
