to set ur clock as set to gmt.

how do i set up ics without dhcp?
basically, each pc on the lan already has an ip with mapped drives to each
other and the machine with the modem has 2 hd.one windows and one linux and
i pull the power from one to the other to boot my preferred OS.
ics is set up on windows but i wanna do that
i once swapped the lm 7.2 hd from one pc (intel 300, 64mb, trident 1mb,
sb16, 14k modem) to another (amd 500, 192mb, s3trio 3d/2x sb16, 32k m)
..totally different configurations ..while i was doign it i made a mental
note to myself to re-install linux (install-itis).
anyways, i booted the hd in

i downloaded kconfigure 1.3 at work from apps.kde.com and compiled it and
ran it... i like so i went home and tried to do the same but i get errors ..
nothing to do or something like that.
so now i want to create an rpm from my machine over here at work to take
home.
how do i do that?

have u tried sndconfig from the command line
it has support for more hardware than harddrake does

u can also make a boot floppy to access ur lm cd.
under windows theres an .exe that will rawwrite a boot floppy for u.
